The most powerful powertrain available for the new Ford F-150 is the 3.5-litre PowerBoost V6 engine paired with an electric motor to form a hybrid powertrain. Towing Capability Comparison
The new 2022 Ram 1500 can tow up to 12,750 pounds when equipped with the eTorque variant of its 5.7-litre HEMI V8 engine. When equipped with its twin-turbocharged 3.5-litre EcoBoost V6 engine, the 2022 F-150 can tow up to 14,000 pounds. The F-150 must also be equipped with the optional maximum trailer towing package to reach its maximum towing capacity.
